As a Solutions Engineer, you will leverage your advanced technical expertise to enhance the sales process, effectively articulating our solution capabilities to potential customers. You will play a crucial role in designing both standard and custom solutions, ensuring they are tailored to meet specific customer needs and expectations. Your contributions will drive customer satisfaction and understanding while providing invaluable insights to our Product teams based on customer feedback and market trends. The role is open to candidates based in Australia, Singapore, or China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultative Sales Support: Co-Lead solution discovery workshops and deal strategy for complex, high-priority opportunities to influence successful outcomes
  • Technical Sales Support: Utilize your in-depth technical knowledge and creativity to design compelling solutions, deliver engaging demos, empowering sales teams to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to prospects.
  • Product Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert, providing comprehensive support to generalist sales team members by answering complex technical questions and offering strategic guidance on product features and benefits.
  • Solution Configuration: Lead the validation and configuration of pre-designed and non-standard solutions before closing sales opportunities, leveraging our Professional Services and Partner teams and ensuring they align with customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Customer Education: Conduct in-depth training sessions for customers, ensuring they fully understand how to maximize the value of our products and solutions in their unique contexts.
  • Voice of Sales to Product: Serve as a liaison between the sales and Product teams by consistently contributing feature requests and insights based on customer feedback and market analysis, helping to mitigate risks and strengthen our competitive positioning.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with CPaaS APIs, SaaS or low code & AI conversation design platforms.
  • Experience in email technology or contact center solutions is a major plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a master's degree.
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architectures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Significant experience in consultative selling, solution design and implementation, with a deep understanding of both standard and custom solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to partner effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management and Partner teams.
  • Proactive approach to identifying customer needs and addressing them through effective training and support or translating them into actionable feature requests.
