Our client is the world's largest airframe Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) provider and looking for an optimization specialist to drive high-impact solutions across our Aerospace OEM and MRO operations - from hangar scheduling to manpower planning. You'll work at the intersection of operations research and software engineering, collaborating closely with application developers and production planners to deliver real-world results.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy optimization solutions on AWS infrastructure
- Develop models for use cases such as hangar scheduling and manpower planning optimization
- Provide L2/L3 production support for optimization solutions
- Collaborate with application developers, MRO planners and cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making
Requirements
- Master's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent, with a focus on mathematical optimization
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building mathematical optimization models
- Solid grounding in linear programming, non-linear programming, constraint programming and heuristics
- Strong problem-solving ability and clear communication skills
- Self-driven and comfortable owning projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Familiarity with AWS services, containerization, version control, and agile workflows
