Job Title: Senior Developer / Solution Architect

Dept/Team: Digital Solution Department / Strategy and Planning Team

Salary Budget: SGD 7,000–10,000 base / month

Work location: near MRT Tanjong Pagar, Sg

Background

The Company is establishing a dedicated delivery team to support a blended Singapore–India delivery model for its clients and regional digital transformation initiatives. The Senior Developer / Solution Architect will play a key role in this team, leading end-to-end solution delivery, working closely with offshore developers, and serving as the primary technical interface with client stakeholders.

This role combines hands-on development, solution architecture, project coordination, and agile delivery leadership. The ideal candidate should be comfortable moving between deep technical work and stakeholder-facing responsibilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Architecture

Lead end-to-end solution delivery across a portfolio of client digital transformation projects, covering business process automation, system integration, and web application development
Design and build Azure-based solutions including web portals, AI-powered document processing pipelines, and enterprise system automation scripts
Develop AI logic leveraging Azure AI Document Intelligence and Azure OpenAI (AOAI) Studio for intelligent PDF extraction, data processing, and workflow automation
Build and maintain Azure Functions, Static Web Apps, and PostgreSQL-backed services in line with client architecture and infrastructure requirements
Develop enterprise system automation scripts covering procurement, goods receipt, and payment cycle workflows
Ensure architecture decisions align with client IT security policies, governance frameworks, and infrastructure standards

Project & Team Management

Act as Scrum Master for the delivery team – facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
Manage and mentor India-based contract developers and Business Partner's developers, ensuring quality and delivery timelines
Report daily progress and project status via JIRA to the client Project Lead and [Company Name] management
Identify risks and blockers early and coordinate resolutions across stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements

Engage directly with client business consultants and business unit stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate requirements
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
Present solution designs, progress updates, and technical recommendations to senior stakeholders
Support proposal and scope definition for upcoming project pipelines

Quality & Governance

Own QA/QC processes for the delivery team – define test plans, review test cases, and ensure release quality
Enforce code review standards, documentation practices, and version control hygiene
Support IT security reviews and ensure delivery complies with client cybersecurity and data governance requirements

Key Requirements & Experience

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Python, including Azure Functions and RPA/GUI automation scripting
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud: Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, PostgreSQL, Azure AI Document Intelligence, AOAI Studio
Experience with SAP GUI Scripting for business process automation
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript or similar frameworks)
Experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Agile project tooling

Preferred / Bonus Skills

IT Security / Cybersecurity awareness and experience with secure development practices
Power Platform experience: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
Data visualisation tools: Tableau or equivalent
IoT background or integration experience
Familiarity with SAP ERP modules (MM, FI, SD)

Certifications (Required or Preferred)*

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile Scrum Master certification
Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-204, or above) – preferred
ISTQB or equivalent QA/QC certification – advantageous

Experience

Minimum 5 years of software development experience
Minimum 2 years in a team lead, tech lead, or project management role
Experience working in a blended onshore-offshore delivery model is a plus
Exposure to Japanese corporate clients or business culture is advantageous
Experience in supply chain, trading, or financial systems is a plus

Strong business acumen – able to understand and communicate business value, not just technical outputs
Excellent stakeholder communication skills in English; Japanese language ability is a bonus
Self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-moving pilot environment
Willingness to travel to India monthly for team management and onsite collaboration
Collaborative, mentoring mindset – able to develop the capability of junior developers
