We are looking for a motivated solution architect to drive the development of enterprise architecture to harmonise the applications, operational, data and infrastructure systems within JTC. You will work with a team of solution architects to understand all systems technical requirements and design a solution the best fits the JTC environment, taking into consideration existing technical architecture, compliance and policy requirements.
Job Scope
- Assist and lead the enterprise architecture strategy, that facilitates the development and implementation of application systems that operates across on premise, government cloud (GCC) and SaaS
- Appreciate and augment enterprise applications system architectures to meet business requirements and streamline governance, policy implementations
- Guide project teams and co-develop system technical architecture that leverage on latest best of breeds tech stack solutions ranging from open web frameworks to iPaaS solutions
- Assist in the migration of on premise applications to government cloud environments
- Provide technical advise to applications and end user teams for onboarding of COTS or equivalent solutions onto JTC environments, which involves system/API/connector-based integration
Requirements
- Possesses relevant qualifications in Computer Science, software engineering or related field
- Possesses a minimum of 5 years working experience with network administration in hardware, software and 2 or more cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Possesses extensive knowledge of application systems architecture (WAF, Load balancer compute and databases etc), operating systems, system security, database management and web platforms.
- Possesses above average awareness of business operations and ability to adopt a wide variety of software solutions such as Content Management, Document Management and Microsoft / Azure cloud front/back-office solutions
- Possesses strong Project Management and teamwork skills with excellent communications with ability to explain technical information in layman terms
- Has a positive mindset and provide superb customer service
- Possesses problem solving skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to lead technical architect teams and manage cross team projects with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams, is a plus
