We are seeking a visionary Solution Architect to spearhead the design and delivery of cutting-edge solutions that solve complex business challenges and realize tangible business value. In this role, you will architect scalable, transformative, and AI-powered solutions and bring them to reality in the new digital bank. You will serve as the technical authority across strategic initiatives — from new application builds and system integrations to major platform enhancements — ensuring that every solution is fit for purpose, future-proof, and aligned with the bank's vision.
Responsibilities:
- Act as technical subject matter expert and take ownership of running existing systems, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement;
- Lead and drive product solution design and execution of complex projects, including new application setups, system integrations, and major enhancements;
- Research and provide insights on industry best practices, emerging technologies, new trends, and impending digital innovations; engage with stakeholders to define future-state architectures and technology roadmaps;
- Design innovative and AI-driven solutions to address identified business challenges;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into BRD/PRD documents and detailed technical designs;
- Coordinate with offshore technology and platform teams to ensure on-time and quality delivery;
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of work experience and a minimum of 2 years in a Lead Software Engineer or Solution Architect role;
- Exposure to banking systems, products and operations;
- Solid technical knowledge with excellent understanding of cloud-native and microservice architecture;
- Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions; able to effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementations;
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business and cross-functional teams, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Experience designing and implementing AI-powered products is an advantage;
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English with stakeholders across Singapore and China
