Overview
We are looking for a proactive and technically capable Solution Consultant to support pre-sales activities for aviation solutions (e.g. A-CDM, RMS). The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation and the ability to understand client environments, including systems, infrastructure, and APIs.
This role will work closely with the sales and product teams to support solution design, client engagements, and proposal development. It requires regular interaction with clients and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and support the development of suitable solutions.
- Assist in preparing and delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Participate in client discussions, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Support the assessment of clients existing systems, infrastructure, and API integrations.
- Analyse technical requirements and identify potential gaps or integration considerations.
- Assist in evaluating system compatibility and data flow across different platforms.
- Solution & Implementation Support
- Assist in preparing solution proposals, including technical approaches and high-level implementation plans.
- Work with internal teams (product, engineering, and support) to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including solution descriptions and integration notes.
- Support as a technical point of contact during pre-sales activities.
- Work with client stakeholders to understand operational needs and provide technical clarification when required.
- Provide support during the early stages of implementation to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery.
- Travel to client sites as required to support demonstrations, discussions, and technical assessments.
- Participate in on-site engagements to better understand client environments and operational requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the sales and implementation process.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain documentation in both English and Mandarin where required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical consulting, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of system integration, APIs, and IT infrastructure.
- Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to support technical discussions and presentations with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to aviation systems or airport operations (e.g. A-CDM, RMS, or similar).
- Basic understanding of airport operational workflows and stakeholder coordination.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. ICAO, IATA) is a plus.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
