We are seeking a Master Data Management expert to lead the design, build, and optimization of enterprise-wide master data capabilities at a leading organisation. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development of a robust Master Data Management (MDM) platform, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and governed data across key domains. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable reliable data for enterprise systems, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives, while shaping modern API-first and event-driven data architectures.
Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing entity resolution and match-merge logic to establish accurate golden records across systems. You will define survivorship rules, manage historical data tracking, and develop canonical data models for core domains.
You will build and maintain MDM pipelines, workflows, and platform extensions, while enabling API-based data publishing and event-driven integrations.
In addition, you will oversee data quality frameworks, including validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and exception handling processes. You will contribute to governance and DevOps practices by maintaining version-controlled configurations, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and establishing operational standards.
You will also collaborate closely with data stewards, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have strong experience in Master Data Management (MDM), with hands-on exposure to platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, SAP MDG, or TIBCO EBX. You should possess solid SQL and data modelling skills, along with experience in ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or event-driven architectures (e.g. Kafka) is important. A good understanding of identity resolution, data quality frameworks, and reconciliation patterns is required. Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices is expected.
