Solution Architect (IAM)

Overview
A leading organization with a significant regional footprint is hiring a Solution Architect - Identity & Access Management (IAM) in Singapore to shape secure, scalable, and integrated identity solutions across its technology environment. This role will lead the architecture and design of IAM platforms spanning authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and access governance, while ensuring alignment with business priorities, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
You will own the architecture and solution design for enterprise IAM platforms, translating business, security, and technology requirements into practical and scalable solutions. Working closely with technology, security, product, and business stakeholders, you will establish technical direction, develop detailed architecture and design documentation, and provide guidance to delivery teams throughout implementation.

You will assess emerging IAM technologies and recommend appropriate platforms and tools, while ensuring new solutions integrate effectively with existing applications, infrastructure, HR systems, customer platforms, and third-party ecosystems. You will also provide architectural governance, review designs against approved standards, manage technology exceptions, and support testing and resolution of technical issues during delivery.

A key part of the role will be ensuring IAM solutions are secure, resilient, and capable of supporting future business growth while meeting applicable compliance requirements, including frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA where relevant.

Requirements
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with approximately 7 years of relevant technology and solution architecture experience, including strong hands-on exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM). You should have a proven track record of designing and delivering complex IAM solutions and be comfortable working across authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, access governance, and enterprise systems integration.

Strong architecture skills and the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders are important. Experience with cloud IAM environments such as Azure and/or AWS, security architecture, and regulatory compliance will be valuable. Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, or Azure/AWS IAM certifications are advantageous but not essential.
