We are seeking a highly capable Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade technology solutions within the financial services domain. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution, driving digital transformation initiatives across cloud, application, integration, and data platforms.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for shaping scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures, supporting both pre-sales and delivery phases, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end solution architectures across application, cloud, integration, and data domains
- Define scalable, resilient, and secure architectures aligned with enterprise standards
- Drive adoption of modern architecture patterns such as microservices, API-first, and event-driven design
2. Digital Transformation & Modernization
- Lead modernization initiatives including legacy transformation, cloud migration, and platform re-architecture
- Recommend architecture strategies leveraging cloudnative and automation approaches
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Presales
- Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into solution blueprints
- Support presales activities including solution proposals, effort estimation, and technical presentations
- Articulate business value, ROI, and technology roadmaps to both technical and non-technical audiences
4. Delivery Leadership
- Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle (design → build → deploy)
- Collaborate with delivery teams, vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation
- Govern architecture compliance, quality standards, and risk management
5. Technology Strategy & Innovation
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies across cloud, AI, automation, and data platforms
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within solution offerings
- Contribute to reusable assets, frameworks, and reference architectures
6. Governance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture standards
- Maintain architecture documentation, design artifacts, and technical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in IT, with solid exposure to solution architecture
- Experience within the financial services domain (banking, insurance, or related sectors)
Technical Competencies
- Experience in: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Microservices and API-driven architecture Integration platforms and middleware DevOps / DevSecOps practices Enterprise system design and distributed systems
- Good understanding of: Data architecture and analytics platforms Cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (financial services context)ITSM / ITIL practices
Certifications
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks
- Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- PMP or equivalent
