We are seeking a strategic and decisive Program Director with a passion for mentoring and leading cross-functional teams to join our team.
This role is responsible for overseeing the execution of complex programs and portfolios from initiation to completion, including setting direction, managing risks, defining processes, and ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
You'll play a key role in driving Agile adoption, and fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and aligning strategic IT program goals with RWS business
strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Programs Leadership
Defines and leads the strategic direction for cross-functional programs and portfolios from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with RWS's business goals and long-term vision.
Oversees multi-year, interdependent programs that span multiple business units or major enterprise initiatives.
2. Portfolio and Process Management
Develops and maintains portfolio roadmaps, refines processes and procedures, and implements portfolio-level risk management plans.
Monitors performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery and continuous improvement across all programs.
3. Stakeholder and Team Engagement
Partners with business leaders to establish program goals that support organizational strategies and enhance stakeholder value.
Directs internal teams and external vendors to achieve program outcomes that contribute to RWS's mission of creating a World of Wonder.
4. Agile and Operational Excellence
Designs and enforces operating policies that support scalable and efficient program execution.
Drives the adoption of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework across teams and projects, fostering a culture of responsiveness and innovation.
5. Risk and Resource Management
Identifies and mitigates risks that may impact program delivery, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Manages resource allocation across programs to maintain delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality constraints.
6. Team Development and Coaching
Leads multidisciplinary teams across various levels, including internal personnel, vendors, and clients.
Coaches team members on Agile practices and Scrum values, while mentoring professionals to build a high-performing, collaborative environment.
