Meds Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a part-time operator/s with strong hands-on experience in manual soldering, preferably within semiconductor or electronic assembly environments. The role involves precision soldering of small components with high reliability and quality standards. Candidates with IPC Class 3 certification or equivalent experience will be an added advantage. Experience in semiconductor manual soldering, rework and repair is highly preferred.
Job Description
. Perform precision manual soldering on semiconductor and electronic components.
. Carry out rework, repair, and touch-up activities as required.
. Ensure all work meets quality and reliability standards, preferably IPC Class 3.
. Handle delicate components safely and comply with ESD and cleanroom practices (if applicable).
. Conduct visual inspection and basic quality verification of solder joints.
. Follow documented processes, work instructions, and safety procedures.
. Support production/engineering team when required.
. Candidate needs to perform operations under microscope views.
. Overtime work arrangements is required.
Requirements
. NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field.
. Prior hands-on experience in manual soldering, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
. Experience working with fine-pitch components, micro-soldering, or precision assembly.
. Exposure to IPC standards, preferably IPC Class 3 workmanship requirements.
. Experience in rework/repair environments will be an advantage.
. Good hand-eye coordination, steady hands, and attention to detail.
. Quality-focused mindset with strong reliability and workmanship discipline.
. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
. Willingness to follow safety, ESD control, and company procedures. Self-motivated & goal oriented.
