Software Testing Engineer(EDI, Avaloq, CargoWise, Banking)

Responsibilities

. Analyze business and functional requirements and translatethem into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
. Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),End-to-End Testing, and Regression Testing.
. Validate banking and wealth management workflows, transactions, and systemintegrations.
. Perform API and interface testing to ensure seamless integration betweenapplications.
. Identify, document, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, andstakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
. Participate in requirement workshops, impact assessments, and solution reviewsessions.
. Prepare test plans, test reports, and testing documentation in accordancewith project standards.
. Support release activities and ensure successful deployment of systemenhancements.
. Conduct functional walkthroughs, knowledge transfer sessions, and usertraining where required.
. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and testing best practices.
. Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and testing status reportsto stakeholders.

Requirements

. 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and QualityAssurance.
. Strong experience in SIT, UAT, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, andEnd-to-End Testing.
. Hands-on experience with banking, financial services, or wealth managementapplications.
. Exposure to Avaloq or similar core banking platforms is highly preferred.
. Experience in API testing, integration testing, and defect management.
. Strong understanding in Agile methodologies.
. Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TFS,or similar platforms.
. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and assess system impacts.
. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
. Experience facilitating workshops, user training, and knowledge transfersessions.
. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
. ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification is an addedadvantage.
