Automation Test Engineer (Senior Level)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress frameworks.
Collaborate with software development and QA teams to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.
Execute automated test suites to validate functionality, detect defects, and ensure high-quality releases.
Enhance and optimize automation frameworks to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders regarding product quality.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices.
Stay updated with emerging trends in automation and testing technologies, integrating relevant tools and techniques.
Promote continuous improvement within the SDLC by advocating automation and efficient testing practices.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Work with containerization tools such as Docker.
Actively contribute within Agile/Scrum teams for iterative development and testing.

Required Qualifications

9+ years of experience in software testing with strong expertise in Selenium and Cypress.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
Hands-on experience with web technologies: HTML and CSS.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Self-driven mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
