Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to drive end-to-end software testing and test automation across the development lifecycle. The role will focus on ensuring software quality, improving test efficiency, and implementing automated testing within modern DevSecOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end testing, including test planning, requirements analysis, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Conduct functional, integration, UAT, performance, and basic security testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using scripting/programming languages.
• Maintain requirements traceability, identify test gaps, and improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive timely defect resolution.
• Implement and maintain automated testing pipelines within DevSecOps/CI/CD environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on test reviews and quality assurance and prepare test documentation and user guides.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software testing and test automation.
• Minimum 3 years of testing experience on Windows OS.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, embedded systems, or cloud-based testing is an advantage.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively software testing certification is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in test automation, scripting/programming, API, performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps/CI/CD tools such as Jira, Xray, Confluence and GitLab CI/CD, with knowledge of microservices and API security testing.
