Job Title: Software Test Engineer (E-Payment Systems)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support end-to-end testing of integrated e-payment systems. You will ensure system quality through functional, performance, and basic security testing, while contributing to test automation and DevSecOps practices in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for e-payment systems
• Analyse requirements, plan testing activities, and prepare test environments
• Design, develop, and execute test cases with proper documentation and reporting
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts to improve testing efficiency
• Ensure requirements traceability and identify test coverage gaps
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
• Perform root cause analysis for production and UAT issues
• Conduct test reviews with stakeholders and support continuous improvement
• Support implementation of automated testing pipelines within DevSecOps environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Experience in UI-based, embedded, or backend system testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing processes
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience in micro-payments or fare collection systems
• Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and performance testing.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Xray, GitLab CI/CD, Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
• Experience in API testing and microservices environments.

• Location: East, Singapore
• Salary: $5,000 - $7,300 per month
