Software System Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external engineering partners to clarify requirements, resolve integration challenges, and maintain technical alignment.
• Lead systemlevel OS integration across multiple platforms, ensuring stable build, configuration, and validation workflows.
• Analyze system behavior using logs, traces, and performance metrics to diagnose issues affecting stability and responsiveness.
• Manage issue tracking, documentation, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Use automation and scripting tools to streamline builds, repetitive tasks, and diagnostic workflows.
• Assess the impact of emerging technologies-such as AIdriven features-on system performance, platform behavior, and user experience.

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with:Issue tracking systems Debugging workflows Crosscomponent triage
• Familiarity with Agile practices, continuous improvement, and structured risk evaluation.
• Exposure to: Configuration management frameworks Device management tools BI/reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI)
• Understanding of AIenhanced features, intelligent diagnostics, or automationdriven development workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation languages such as PowerShell or Python.

MustHave Criteria

• At least 3 years of experience in system engineering, OS integration, platform bringup, or related technical fields.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering teams.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in:System engineering OS integration Platform bringup Firmware, drivers, or lowlevel system interactions
• Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, particularly Windowsbased platforms.
• Experience working with ODM partners, silicon vendors, or external engineering teams.
• Ability to break down complex technical issues and drive clear action plans.
• Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
