Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, maintaining, and updating test cases and test plans in line with evolving requirements and policies
- Conducting performance and security testing
- Working with Java-based systems
- Building, maintaining, and enhancing automated test frameworks and environments
- Testing new features and logging defects
- Performing various testing types: manual, functional, performance, exploratory, and supporting UATs
- Assisting in resolving production issues
- Participating actively in Agile ceremonies
- Leading and mentoring team members (if applicable)
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Infocomm discipline
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality testing and automation
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Experience with API testing
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Familiarity with TDD, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with open-source testing tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Selenium, Playwright)
- Exposure to enterprise testing tools (e.g., HP UFT, HP QC, Sprinter, HP Mobile Center)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Locust, HP LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools (e.g., ZAP, Burp Suite, SQLMap, HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx)
- Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills
