As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans that align with project requirements and security standards.
- Create, enhance, and manage an automated test framework and test environments to streamline the testing process.
- Conduct thorough testing of new features, identifying and documenting any defects or issues encountered.
- Perform a variety of tests, including manual, functional, performance, exploratory, and user acceptance tests (UAT).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Advocate the adoption of relevant and up-to-date technologies, practices, and tools within Agile software projects.
- Contribute actively to technical discussions and solutioning sessions, offering valuable insights and suggestions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote the implementation of best practices across the development team.
Requirements:
- Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Around 3-5 years of professional experience in software quality testing and automation.
- Good understanding of testing techniques, including test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
- Proficiency in working with open-source automated testing frameworks, preferably Cypress, and open source performance testing tools such as K6.
- Experience working in Agile development teams, utilizing methodologies like Scrum.
- Demonstrates high expectations of oneself.
- Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and mentoring fellow developers.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently.
