Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/Test Engineer to support end-to-end testing activities for applications within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves designing test strategies, executing test plans, and ensuring high-quality delivery through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and agile practices, with the ability to identify risks, drive quality improvements, and contribute to continuous testing excellence across the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and execute testing i.e. analyses requirements, develop test strategies, test plan, test scenarios/cases
- Responsible for end to end testing delivery for the applications in collaboration with other stakeholders/interfacing systems.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
- Actively participate in inception, daily stand-ups and retrospective meeting & represent testing
- Accurately evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality
- Work effectively to define testable user stories, acceptance criteria, with all stakeholders
- Stays abreast of QA & Testing best practice and latest available tool, frameworks and standards.
- Risk and Issue Management - Identify, mitigate and escalate testing risks and issues
Requirements-
- Experience in the field of financial/banking applications testing (i.e. Internet banking, Mobile banking)
- Advanced knowledge of test methodologies and approaches
- Experience of using and implementing a variety of test tools, including tools for test management / planning, defect tracking, test automation, test data management
- Experience with Agile & Testing Tools like JIRA, Confluence would be an advantage
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing test automation based on BDD
- Experience of working on agile projects and deliveries
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
