We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks. You will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality throughout the entire SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and vendors to align testing objectives with business requirements.
- Review technical designs and requirements to provide feedback and propose automation approaches.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to validate system functionality.
- Plan, estimate, and manage automation testing efforts across multiple projects.
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test strategies, test cases, and execution reports.
- Perform integration, regression, and system tests across applications, APIs, databases, and networks.
- Execute and analyze automated test runs, track results, and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify test gaps, propose improvements, and enhance efficiency of automation pipelines.
- Manage defect reporting, tracking, and resolution in collaboration with developers.
- Support and coordinate user acceptance testing with business teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes for knowledge transfer and future updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal QA standards, SDLC practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in QA automation or related testing roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as , Selenium, or similar.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript, Java, or Python for automation.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and integrate automation solutions within cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications in QA or automation technologies are an advantage.
