Software Operations Engineer (L2) Cleantech Sector

Location: Singapore

We're partnering with a pioneering tech company that's leveraging AI and real-time data to reduce carbon emissions worldwide.

The Role

As part of the L2 support team, you will be the first line of defense for production environments. You'll monitor application health, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate with development (L3) teams for long-term fixes. Your work involves analyzing logs, understanding deployment environments (including containerized systems), and ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders when issues arise. Over time, this role offers the opportunity to grow your expertise in IoT applications and enterprise software operations.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least 2 years in a maintenance or operations role
Familiarity with containerized deployment (e.g., Kubernetes)
Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and Python
Basic shell scripting skills, with ability to debug existing scripts
Understanding of RDBMS and Time Series Databases (TSDB)
Experience with monitoring tools and interpreting logs
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Basic awareness of cybersecurity concepts, and familiarity with ITIL practices are nice to have
