Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers to ensure quality deliverables and team growth.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Analyze, design, and enhance existing programs by identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs into a fully functional system.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases through refactoring, optimization, and regular code reviews.
- Provide proactive customer updates and ensure high satisfaction with support services.
- Participate in a 24x7 support rotation(if applicable), ensuring system uptime and availability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, QA, and Product Owners.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and stability.
- Recommend and implement enhancements by identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in software development and support.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java or C++.
- Strong initiative, a positive attitude, and a passion for operational support.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, customers, and managing resources.
- Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with Government IT processes and compliance is a plus
