Software Lead

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and drive high-quality software delivery.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 6+ years of hands-on software development experience;
• 3+ years of technical leadership in Agile/Scrum teams;
• Must have strong proficiency in Java, C#, or TypeScript (Angular/React/Next.js);
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, OOP, and secure coding practices;
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing;
• Experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices;
• Strong system design, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
• Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring abilities.

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps;
• Experience with performance, reliability, and benchmarking practices;
• Knowledge of Proof of Concept (POC) and Initial Operations Capability (IOC) delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions;
• Deliver high-quality features aligned with Agile sprint goals;
• Develop front-end, backend services, APIs, and microservices;
• Lead technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices;
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing;
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, QA, and DevOps engineers;
• Analyse existing systems and recommend scalable technical solutions;
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across workstreams;
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues;
• Estimate technical effort, manage risks, and support timely delivery;
• Promote continuous improvement in quality, security, and maintainability.
