About our group:

The Firmware & Test Engineering group is a global team focused on the development of Seagate's HDD SelfTest Firmware and Test Process

About the role - you will:

. Develop HDD Firmware and SelfTest platform in C/Python
. Improve the performance of HDD SelfTest Process
. Work with DC and factory teams to analyze and fix issues during HDD SelfTest Process
. Work with cross-function teams to improve product yield, test time, and quality performance

About you:

. Bachelor or above. Knowledge of Science or Engineering
. Good understanding of embedded firmware & software architecture
. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Able to use verbal and written communication in English
. Can work independently, innovative, disciplined, Active, self-motivative, A positive attitude for work and willingness to accept challenges
. Good logical ability, strong learning ability and good problem-solving skills
. Down-to-earth attitude with good teamwork

Your experience includes:

. Python language programming
. C language programming
. Troubleshooting, analyzing, designing and debugging capability
. Cross-functional team working
. Bachelor and/or equivalent experience
. Data analysis and processing skill
. Knowledge of Storage System
. Fluent English

Located in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub, where more than 4,000 employees deliver technical services, customer test, manufacturing and support capabilities.
