We are looking to speak to Software Engineering Managers!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive technical design, architecture discussions, and implementation strategies for scalable and resilient applications.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and support.
- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and deliver business objectives.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, CI/CD processes, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Ensure high system availability, performance, security, and scalability across cloud-based applications.
- Manage team capacity, sprint planning, resource allocation, and delivery commitments.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and coaching for team members.
- Participate in technical decision-making, code reviews, and architecture governance.
- Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives leveraging AWS services.
- Monitor project risks and proactively address technical and operational challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
- Strong hands-on experience with: Golang, Java, ReactJs, AWS
- Experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern engineering practices.
- Proven ability to lead multiple engineering initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
