Software Engineer - Web App - SL

Scope of Work

. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and resource needs.

. Implement scalable containerized web applications.

. Including documentation, unit testing, creating docker compose files

. Integration with messaging platforms (Solace, IBM MQ), databases (Oracle via JDBC), and front-end delivery (web and mobile via WebSocket).

. Work with a small team of local and offshore developers.

What We're Looking For

. 2+ years of software development experience

. Strong hands-on experience with:

. Java, preferably with Quarkus Java Native experience

. Node.js, preferrable with AngularJS experience

. Docker/Podman

. Messaging platforms like Solace PubSub+, IBM MQ, Kafka

. Oracle DB, SQL

. JDBC, REST APIs, WebSocket, JWT, Web cache

. Proven experience in web applications development and not only maintenance.

. Good understanding of SDLC methodologies, especially Agile methodologies.

. Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

. Familiarity with mobile web delivery using Flutter/Dart and server-driven UI rendering.

• Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certification.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g. JMeter).
• Understanding of container security and compliance practices.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and remediations.
  

Working Location : Central & customer place (but rarely work there)
