Software Engineer (Vietnamese speaking, .Net, C#, ASP. NET, Web APIs, AWS)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services using modern .NET technologies.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs supporting enterprise and web-based applications.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver seamless integration between client and server components.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following industry best practices.
• Contribute to system design discussions and implement scalable software architectures.
• Develop integrations with external platforms and enterprise systems.
• Build asynchronous and event-driven components to improve system performance and reliability.
• Support data management solutions using relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure to support distributed applications.
• Implement background processing and automation tasks to support system workflows.
• Integrate messaging services and cloud tools to enable scalable communication between services.
• Monitor application performance and optimize system reliability.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain engineering standards and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and release readiness.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application stability and performance.
• Mentor junior developers and support onboarding of new team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance during feature development and system enhancements.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET-based application development
• Strong experience in ASP. NET, Web APIs and backend services
• Strong experience in SQL Server and relational database design
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework core or similar ORM technologies
• Experience in AWS
• Hands on experience in Hangfire
• Strong experience in Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code
• Strong experience in Git, Github, Gitlab, Jira
• Proficiency in Vietnamese (spoken and written) is required for this role in order to liaise with Vietnamese-speaking counterparts
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, React JS or modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience working with asynchronous processing or background job frameworks
• Experience in mentoring engineers or supporting small development teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for writing clean and maintainable code
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile development environments
