Job Summary:
Support the Central Automation team in developing the new vision and Pick & Place software modules, for backend Automation machines and Automated Optical Inspection machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be an effective team player
- Develop solutions for software and control related activities
- Actively participate in the Automation machine build and testing of new products
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to technical problems related to software
- Work productively with all cross-functional teams manufacturing, planner, Quality Assurance
- Gather and analyze data with ability to format and present to internal teams
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with other automation team members to define requirements, develop and test solutions, and commission systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience and interest in working with: C#, .Net, Python, RPi, Arduino platform
- Strong communications (written, verbal, listening) and team skills
- Strong work ethic. Fast learner with energy and enthusiasm
- Computer skills, MS Office, Visio, Smartsheet
- Must be fluent in English both conversational and technical and must have the ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- BS or Diploma in Computer Science or related Engineering field
