My client is a high performance technology platform who is looking for a Backend Engineer to help scale their infrastructure and core services.
Responsibilities:
- Build Core Backend Services: Design and develop foundational services and APIs that power content delivery, user interactions, and creator tools.
- Scale Distributed Systems: Architect and optimize high-performance distributed systems for media processing, storage, and global content distribution.
- Own Data Infrastructure: Develop data pipelines and infrastructure that support real-time analytics and enable machine-learning-driven recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Experienced Backend Engineer: 2+ years building and scaling distributed backend systems, with deep proficiency in Go, Java, or Python, strong system design fundamentals, and solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Infrastructure & Data Expertise: Hands-on experience with relational/NoSQL databases, message queues, caching layers, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), plus containerization technologies.
- Proven in High-Traffic Environments: Demonstrated ability to design, build, and optimize resilient, high-performance backend services that support large-scale production workloads.
