Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer on Tokka Labs MEV & Solversteam, you will build and maintain the critical integration layer between our high-performance trading infrastructure and leading DeFi protocols across multiple blockchains.

You will play a key role in expanding our multi-chain capabilities (strong EVM focus, SVM & BTC as pluses), developing robust APIs, and ensuring low-latency, reliable access to DeFi opportunities -directly powering our solvers and market-making strategies in competitive markets.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the intersection of blockchain protocol engineering and proprietary trading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate leading DeFi protocols into our internal trading systems and infrastructure.

• Expand and maintain multi-chain support for integrated protocols.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that enable seamless interaction between protocols and our internal platforms.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and quant teams to deliver reliable, production-grade integrations.

• Optimize for performance, scalability, and reliability across supported chains.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with protocol integrations and API performance.

• Stay at the forefront of emerging DeFi protocols, blockchain ecosystems, and MEV innovations.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

• Solid EVM experience (essential).

• SVM (Solana) and/or Bitcoin experience is a strong plus.

• 2-3+ years of relevant experience in DeFi, blockchain infrastructure, or protocol integration engineering.

• Hands-on experience building production systems that interact with live blockchains and DeFi protocols.

• Strong problem-solving skills and passion for performance optimization.
