Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications for IoT devices and cloud-based platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware, data science, and product teams to integrate AI-driven features into our solutions.
- Optimise software for performance, reliability, and scalability on platforms such as Raspberry Pi 5 and other embedded systems.
- Develop APIs and backend systems to support real-time data analytics and device communication.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and JavaScript.
- Experience with IoT development.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
