Software Engineer (Robotics & Automation)

Job Summary:

Our Client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to take on a pivotal role in developing and enhancing robotics solutions using advanced RMF-based systems. If you have a strong foundation in ROS2, robotics development, and are ready to lead impactful automation projects across Asia, this is your opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team pushing the boundaries of intelligent automation.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop expertise in RMF technology and contribute to enhancing an advanced Fleet Management System (FMS).

Support projects in Japan by applying RMF-based solutions to drive automation.

Participate in feature development and performance upgrades of the FMS to ensure continuous improvements in automation.

Travel Requirements:

Frequent business trips to Japan will be required due to the nature of ongoing projects.

Travel to India and Thailand may also be necessary based on project demands.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or above in Engineering, Robotics, Software Development, or a related field.

Proficiency in ROS2 coding is required. Candidates without ROS2 experience must demonstrate hands-on expertise in ROS1, C++, or Python for software development.

Strong understanding of robotics and robotics development.

Ability to produce specification sheets for software or software code.

Strong leadership skills.

Experience in project management is a plus.

Employment Type: 2 years contract

Budget: Up to $5,500 monthly

Location: Bedok
