Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an Software Engineer to support change request development and enhance existing distribution-related applications through hands-on involvement in design, coding, testing, maintenance, and DevOps-driven microservices development. The ideal candidate has 47 years of application development experience, strong expertise in cloud-native backend development (Java, NodeJS), frontend development with React and JavaScript, solid SQL/database skills, and experience working in an AWS cloud environment (serverless is a plus). Exposure to SOA/ESB architectures, automation or AI-related initiatives, and the insurance domain is advantageous, along with strong multitasking abilities and a Java certification.

Job Responsibilities

• To support in developmental activities of change requests.
• Involve in design, coding, testing and maintenance of existing distribution related applications.
• Involve in DevOps and micro-service development

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent.
• Minimum 4-7 years of Application Development experience.
• Experience in Cloud Native backend programming like Java and NodeJS.
• Experience in Frontend development like React frameworkand Javascript
• Experience in SQL (MySQL, Oracle, etc. )
• Experience in working with AWS cloud environment. Serverless framework concept is a bonus.
• Proficient in handling complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques
• Experience in Insurance domain is preferable.
• Excellent in working effectively in a multi-tasking environment, ability to prioritize competing tasks
• Experience in SOA and ESB architecture
• Experience on automation and AI prompt will be advantage
• Java certified professional highly preferred
