ob Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finacle Support Engineer with strong expertise in Finacle 10.x/11.x environments, production support, and environment management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining Finacle environments while ensuring high availability and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support, installation, and administration for Finacle 10.x/11.x environments
- Troubleshoot application and environment-related issues and configure new services
- Manage and support Finacle N-tier architecture and high availability environments
- Write and execute SQL queries in Oracle/PostgreSQL for troubleshooting, reporting, and issue analysis
- Perform Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting activities
- Support middleware technologies such as WebSphere Application Server and JBoss
- Automate routine operational and environment management tasks
- Perform patching activities for Finacle, operating systems, middleware, and database components
- Conduct impact assessments and coordinate with OS, DB, Middleware, and infrastructure teams during maintenance activities
- Manage environment maintenance activities including source refresh and data refresh across environments
- Support CI/CD-related activities and deployment processes
- Handle production support activities and ensure adherence to change management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership of assigned deliverables
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Finacle 10.x/11.x support environments
- Strong knowledge of Finacle architecture and end-to-end setup
- Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases and SQL query writing
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux commands and scripting
- Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with middleware technologies such as WebSphere and JBoss
- Experience in production support and environment management
- Understanding of patching, release management, and change management processes
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automation and scripting for operational efficiency
- Knowledge of banking and core banking environments
- Exposure to high availability and disaster recovery concepts
