About Global PaymentThe Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.The Payment Network PI team is part of the Global Payment Network organization. We focus on supporting binding payment instruments via diverse payment channels and managing the instruments lifecycle. Our mission is to ensure high-quality and reliable payment instruments through robust system design and multi-layered safeguards, enabling users to enjoy a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms such as TikTok.Responsibilities1.Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend systems and architectures2.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code review and debug code to maintain overall system quality3.Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery4.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and break down complex business requirements into clear, actionable tasks5.Continuously research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies to enhance system performance and maintain technical excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience2. Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages, such as Java/Go/C++/C#/Python3.Proven experience in backend development and distributed systems architecture4. Solid understanding of relational databases and backend infrastructure5.Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to details6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex ideas and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.Preferred Qualification(s)1. Minimum 2 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business2. Experience in payment systems or financial transaction processing is a plus.
