Job Summary
You will support and enhance web and in-house applications, develop backend APIs, and collaborate on software projects to improve monitoring systems for construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain existing web and in-house applications, including backend Web/API development and integration testing to ensure stable application server performance
- Collaborate on software development projects internally and with external vendors to deliver functional solutions
- Develop programs and scripts to enhance application and database effectiveness for operational efficiency
- Document program requirement specifications accurately to guide development and testing
- Extract data to generate reports that support business and operational needs
- Monitor development progress to ensure timely delivery of thoroughly tested programs meeting specifications
- Ensure all application development complies with company policies and industry standards
- Apply in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle and process mapping to support post-live application maintenance
- Manage maintenance processes and resolve issues to minimize downtime
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to software and operational processes
- Interpret technical drawings or data to troubleshoot and resolve defects or execute assigned work
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Record equipment performance data accurately for assigned production lines
- Recommend improvements in equipment setup to enhance productivity and quality
- Maintain detailed records of diagnoses and defective final products for quality control
- Proactively seek opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance system reliability
- Apply creativity and innovation to leverage IT solutions effectively in operational environments
Required competencies and certifications
- Graduate Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in software development or IT support
- Proficient in SQL Server, MySQL, ASP .Net, C#, VB Script, PHP, and Microsoft Office Macro
- Thorough understanding of Client/Server architecture, relational databases, web-based systems, and object-oriented design
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of the latest web and mobile technologies to support evolving application needs
