Software Engineer

Responsibilities

. Design and develop software for automated equipment

. Maintain, review and improve legacy codes

. Troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems

. Write user manuals to describe the functionality of the developed programs

. Liaise with customer on requirements and create specifications based on these requirements.

Requirements

. Degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering/Computer science or related discipline

. Preferably with 2 to 3 years relevant experience in automation industry

. Proficient in PC based programming (e.g. Visual C#)

. Familiar with PLC programming (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff)

. Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g. IAI, AD Link)

. Familiar with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)

. Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly

. Ability to work independently and in a team with a can-do working attitude.

. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer site
