Software Engineer (MiddeWare)

Will be responsible for managing, upgrading, and maintaining JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) environments. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our middlewaresystems. You will be working with the Application Team and Infrastructure Team.

Key Responsibilities

. Upgrade JBoss EAP: Plan,execute, and validate the upgrade of JBoss EAP from version 7.2 to 7.4 across all relevant environments, ensuring minimal downtime and robust rollback strategies.

. Setup JBoss EAP 8.1.x: Install,configure, and optimise JBoss EAP 8.1.x for new and existing applications,including cluster setup, security hardening, and integration with otherenterprise systems.

. Troubleshoot JBoss EAP Issues:Diagnose and resolve incidents and performance issues related to JBoss EAP,collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure system stabilityand availability.

Qualifications and Skills

. Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

. Proven experience administeringJBoss EAP environments, including upgrades and new installations.

. Strong troubleshooting skillsfor middleware and application server environments.

. Familiarity with Windows serveroperating systems and scripting (PowerShell, batch file, etc.).

. Experience with securityconfigurations, clustering, and performance tuning in JBoss EAP.

. Excellent communication skillsand the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience

. Experience with JBoss EAP 7.xand 8.x in production environments.

. Knowledge of DevOps tools andautomation for middleware management.

. Background in applicationdeployment and CI/CD pipelines.
