Role Purpose(s)

Application development, enhancement, maintenance and support for next generation Tuas Terminal Operating System (GTOS+2.0).

Key Accountabilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional requirement specifications.
• Manage and support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of assigned project(s) from initialization to closure.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure successful software system delivery and technical feasibility.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Implementation and Deployment.
• Ensure technical solution supports the business requirements.
• Perform system troubleshooting

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide 247 system support in a team-based setting.
• Willing to travel down to data centres and endpoint deployment sites when needed to support troubleshooting and remediation of issues
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support departmental goals and business needs.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent

Skills Required

Must-have skills

• Proficient in programming (JAVA / C / C++)
• Oracle / SQL
• Hands on experience in frameworks like Angular, Spring Boot; Cloud Foundry or similar cloud technology
• Proficiency in Agile Methodologies
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)

Preferable skills

Hands on experience in frameworks like Angular, Spring Boot; Cloud Foundry or similar cloud technology.

Proficiency in Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum

Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
