Software Engineer (Java Applications)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend modules using Java and related frameworks

• Develop and maintain APIs to support system integration

• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices

• Troubleshoot application defects and implement long-term fixes

• Optimize application performance and database interactions

• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews

• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and infrastructure teams for seamless releases

• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvements

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on Java development experience

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles

• Experience with Spring, RESTful services, and backend integration

• Familiarity with SQL databases and query optimization

• Understanding of version control systems such as Git

• Strong analytical and debugging skills
