As part of the Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team, you'll develop cutting-edge web applications and APIs that capture, price, and execute passive FX transaction flows across multiple JPMorganChase lines of business, engaging directly with stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase as a part of the Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

Job responsibilities

. Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

. Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems

. Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development

. Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

. Formal training or certification on engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience with React

. Proficient in coding in front end frameworks such as React, Typescript, HTML, CSS etc.

. Experience in building high-performance desktop/web applications

. Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration

. Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile approach

. Passion for interactive design - Clear understanding of UX methodologies

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

. Exposure to cloud technologies

. Familiarity with designing tools, such as Figma

. Familiarity with Java, Springboot, Maven

. Familiarity with OLAP application and data visualization
