C++ Engineer — Market Data

We're working with a top trading firm looking for C++ engineers to build and own the systems that connect the firm to the market as they expand their presence in APAC.

The role

You'll be working on the infrastructure that ingests market data and routes orders to exchanges.

Depending on background and interest, that covers:

• Building and maintaining feed handlers across a range of exchanges and protocols
• Order entry and gateway development, including session management and recovery
• Normalising venue-specific data into a consistent internal format
• Latency profiling and optimisation across the full tick-to-trade path
• Working directly with traders and quants on what they need from the data

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; 4+ years preferred
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems is essential
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals
• Comfort with Linux systems programming, profiling and low-level debugging
• Finance or trading experience is a plus, but not required
