Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

We are partnering with a Ventured Backed company who are looking for an ambitious Software Engineer to join their research and development team. You will work on expanding offensive security capabilities and contribute innovative security research and engineering.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering and cybersecurity, developing cutting-edge tools and solutions that help enterprises identify and validate security exposure. You'll be part of a team of operators, researchers, and engineers who think like attackers and are building technology to stop them.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead research and development projects that push the limits of offensive security, replicating adversary tactics at scale to uncover vulnerabilities and provide actionable insights. You will design and implement cloud-based, scalable infrastructures that underpin cutting-edge offensive security tools, ensuring they perform efficiently under high-demand conditions.

Your work will involve utilizing cloud-native services to develop resilient, big data solutions that form part of offensive security and data processing capabilities. You will engineer and maintain robust data pipelines that seamlessly process attack surface and offensive security data, delivering real-time insights to enhance security research and red team capabilities.

Required Experience:

We are looking for candidates with 2-5 years of software engineering experience who possess the following qualifications -

Offensive Security Expertise:
Experience or exposure in building and deploying offensive security solutions, with a deep understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Cloud Infrastructure Experience:
Proven experience in architecting and scaling cloud-based solutions to support intensive data processing and real-time threat analysis.

Innovative Mindset:
A proactive approach to security research and problem-solving, with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges and deliver practical solutions.

Programming Skills:
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, with a strong emphasis on building scalable, maintainable code.
