Software Engineer (Calypso)

. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Programming & Systems Analysis/Science (Computer Studies) faculties.

. Candidates should have 3 - 6 years of experience in relevant activities.

. Excellent understanding of Java, PL/SQL & Linux.

. Experience on Calypso versions higher than v13 an asset.

. Experience in Calypso back-office functionality with hands-on experience in customizations of different Calypso modules (trained by a client of Nasdaq Calypso, by Nasdaq Calypso or a consulting company on these modules):

o Custom Remote Services

o Engines

o Events

o Filters

o Reporting Framework

o ScheduledTask

o Message / Swift messages

o Transfers

o Settlement Delivery Instructions

o Accounting

o Pricers

o Workflows

o Reconciliation functionalities

. Knowledge of Confirmations, Settlement, Position, and Accounting modules.

. Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.

. Experience with regulatory reporting HRF, NORIA, MMSR.

. Experience ideally in interfacing Calypso with external systems.

. Hands-on experience in implementation projects.

. AGILE track record.

. Experience in GIT, MasterDeploy, SVN, JENKINS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.

. Database: Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB.

. Experience in implementing NR scenarios.

. Developing microservices.
