Software Engineer (C )

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for critical business systems.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, application defects, and system integration problems.
• Manage and coordinate internal and vendor-led technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Review existing systems and recommend improvements to application architecture, design, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Evaluate technology options and propose suitable software frameworks, platforms, and implementation approaches.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure applications meet organisational standards and operational requirements.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies, software engineering practices, and DevOps methodologies.
• Contribute to code reviews, development standards, testing practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in software development, application engineering, or a related field.
• Strong full-stack development experience across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining object-oriented applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with modern frontend and web development technologies such as Angular, React, Vue.js, or jQuery.
• Experience supporting, enhancing, and maintaining production web or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, application design, and development best practices.
• Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies and development approaches.
