Software Engineer (Application Support)

Salary: 5500 to 6200 SGD (depending on overall experience)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company's applications.

. Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly address and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

. Work directly with various exchanges and our software engineers to test and conform new software releases including UAT testing.

. Work with our infrastructure team to test and complete various server and network upgrade projects.

. Actively monitor and respond to alerts for our critical systems and infrastructure, resolving issues wherever

possible and escalating to other teams if necessary.

. Support application deployments, upgrades, and patches.

. Maintain documentation for incidents, solutions, and support procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

. Between 2 - 4 years of technical project coordination or IT operation support.

. Good understanding of infrastructure and software development life cycle.

. Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.

. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).

. Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments.

. Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

. Insurance domain knowledge is an advantage
