Software Engineer - AI Infrastructure Startup

With substantial Series A backing and strategic partnerships with leading hardware manufacturers, they&aposre seeking a Backend Software Engineer to architect and implement critical services that manage large-scale compute workloads, orchestrate resources across distributed data centers, and provide seamless APIs for developers and enterprise customers.

Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building the foundational systems that power next-generation AI cloud infrastructure. Your primary focus will involve creating robust APIs and backend services that handle complex resource orchestration across multiple data centers while ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You&aposll work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, infrastructure specialists, and product managers to deliver scalable solutions that meet the demanding requirements of AI workloads. This position offers the opportunity to establish engineering best practices, mentor team members, and directly influence architectural decisions that will shape the platform&aposs future growth. The role emphasizes leveraging modern development tools and AI-assisted coding platforms to maximize productivity and code quality.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of production backend development experience with expertise in languages such as Golang, Rust or Python. Strong knowledge of distributed systems, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms is essential. Candidates with background in GPU computing or cloud service provider environments will be particularly valued.
