Software Engineer

Software Developer (PL/SQL / .NET)

Location: Singapore

Type: Full-time

On-call: Occasional Level 23 weekend support

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong experience across PL/SQL and .NET technologies to join our fast-paced trading technology environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex systems, values reliability, and enjoys working across the full trade lifecycle.

You will work closely with our senior developer based in Singapore, who will provide structured onboarding and domain training to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, C#, WCF, REST APIs, and related technologies

Design and optimize database solutions using Oracle and PL/SQL

Contribute to DevOps workflows and continuous integration practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support trading systems across front-to-back processes

Participate in occasional Level 23 on-call weekend support

Ensure stability, reliability, and responsiveness in a high-pressure environment

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in PL/SQL and .NET development

Hands-on knowledge of:

ASP.NET, C#, Web REST API, WCF, WPF

Oracle, PL/SQL

TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Developer, GitHub

Proven background in web application development and maintenance

Experience working in DevOps environments

Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

Solid understanding of trading systems, including trade lifecycles and both physical and derivatives instruments

Ability to perform reliably in a fast-paced, production-critical setting
