Job Responsibilities
. Participate in cross-functional group discussion & R&D for active alignment, test and characterization of photonics testing equipment.
. Develop programs for test automation and data post-processing.
. Define design verification test plans, analyse device performance, and provide feedback for design improvements.
. Perform detailed characterization of active and passive integrated photonics devices on the chip-level and wafer-level.
. Review product specifications and provide test‑feasibility feedback.
Requirements / Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer & Communication Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
. Experience in semiconductor equipment, photonics testing, wafer processing, or laser systems is preferred
. Proficiency in C++/C# programming, PLC is also a PLUS
. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
. Good communication skills for customer interaction
. Customer-facing technical role (on-site and remote support)
. Semiconductor / wafer-level / die-level testing process optimization
. Familiar with tester instruments, e.g., Keysight / NI and tester software integration - LABVIEW application.
. Root cause analysis and problem-solving
. Willingness to travel regionally or overseas / Regional travel may be required
. Data analysis skills (Excel, Python, or MATLAB)
. Experience working in a cleanroom environment is a PLUS
