Job Summary

We seek an experienced Java Developer with 6-8+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 8/11/17 to deliver robust software solutions
• Design and implement Microservices architectures to support scalable and modular systems
• Build and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration between services and external systems
• Apply expertise in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) to design efficient data models and optimize queries
• Utilize JPA/Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks to manage database interactions and ensure data integrity
• Manage source code and version control using Git to maintain code quality and collaboration
• Use build tools such as Maven or Gradle to automate project builds and dependency management
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software defects to maintain high system reliability and performance
• Collaborate effectively within Agile development teams to deliver iterative software releases
• (Preferred) Apply knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment automation and scalability

Required competencies and certifications

• 6-8+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot
• Strong experience designing and developing Microservices
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
• Experience with JPA/Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks
• Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
